Egg Drop Day

Since it's been getting warm here lately, my friends and I have been going out more. I'm still as busy and overwhelmed by schoolwork but I am holding and trying my best each day :)

This Thursday, my college had it's yearly egg drop! For our 3-d class we had to design a machine to cushion an egg, when we were done we had to throw it off the school roof top and hope that the egg doesn't break XD

My groups egg drop machine was made of a soda can and a some want ghetto looking parachute XD It looked original and but unfortunately it didn't do much to cushion the poor egg! It got slaughtered...

I had a lot of fun that day, more fun than I thought I would :) Plus the pizza we had afterwards kind of helped to lighten my mood too Hee hee XD 

Yeh, my life at DCAD is still fairly simple at the moment but smalls experiences really make me happy and help grow. I know going to art school was a decision I made out of whim, but I am glad to know that I don't regret it :3

Update

Hey Everyone!

Finally got some time to update this blog! Since I came back from Spring Break I've been bombarded with schoolwork. Art school really sucks the life out of me...

Some good news, I am finally pumped to work on my manga Crescent, for those who don't know, Crescent is a story about a male selkie who longs to live with the woman he loves. I am hoping to finish my character designs sometime this week and get going on the storyboarding in April. I  I've also have a lot of ideas for fanart :D Been watching a lot of anime lately!

That's enough for now I think. I'm gonna go do some drawing, and later I might come and blog about my field trip yesterday.

Update

Hey hey <3

I know, I know...I keep neglecting this poor blog, I've made it a priority this year to give it a lot more love.

 Some news since I've first last showed my face here, I've finally graduated from high school and gotten in to college! I am now officially a art student :) Life is busy now for me in this small Delaware college with 6 classes and projects due every week. Sometimes I wanna cry and go back home to North Carolina but I promised myself not to be a coward and runaway, especially since coming to Delaware was my own choice.

While completing my fall semester this year I learned a lot of things about life and about myself. I may not be the most beautiful and or the most athletic but I have strength of another kind, I have bravery. 

It's been snowing here a lot the past few days, not very much but enough for small snow ball fights :3 

I really missed snowy nights and visible footprints last year, North Carolina doesn't really get much snow showers but a lot of slush during this time of the year. I really do like enjoying the most out of the seasons, I don't want it all to pass by me in a flash.

 Well I'm off to take a nap and then do some hw, I got a lot to do. I'm busy, but it's a good kind of busy <3
